Watermelon is in season in Ghana again and it is time to get the blender or juicer working again.
This #juice has tons of antioxidants, it is a #detox drink and also a great immune booster.
You have just got to try this drink, it is soo #yummylicious and a great alternative to fizzy drinks full of sugar. Plus you can drink it any time of the day!
Ingredients
- Two (2) cups of diced watermelon
- One (1) inch of ginger root
- Or one (1) tablespoon ginger powder
Method
- Place the diced watermelon with seeds in the blender or juicer. Please leave the seeds in there, they are edible and contain vitamins A and C plus folate, iron, zinc, magnesium, potassium etc.
- Wash the ginger very well to get rid of any dirt and add it to the watermelon in the blender or juicer
- Add the ice-cubes (optional) into your blender or juicer.
- Blend until very smooth
- Serve and enjoy!
