Watermelon is in season in Ghana again and it is time to get the blender or juicer working again.

This #juice has tons of antioxidants, it is a #detox drink and also a great immune booster.

You have just got to try this drink, it is soo #yummylicious and a great alternative to fizzy drinks full of sugar. Plus you can drink it any time of the day!

Ingredients

  • Two (2) cups of diced watermelon
  • One (1) inch of ginger root
  • Or one (1) tablespoon ginger powder

 Method

  • Place the diced watermelon with seeds in the blender or juicer. Please leave the seeds in there, they are edible and contain vitamins A and C plus folate, iron, zinc, magnesium, potassium etc.
  • Wash the ginger very well to get rid of any dirt and add it to the watermelon in the blender or juicer
  •  Add the ice-cubes (optional) into your blender or juicer.
  • Blend until very smooth
  • Serve and enjoy!
